I was born in London, England and moved to New Jersey at the age of 11. After graduating East Stroudsburg University in Pennsylvania, I moved to New York City to pursue a career in music and entertainment. During my time in NYC, I spent my days writing music with a team of creative troubadours and auditioned for shows. To make rent, I had an array of interesting jobs. Each job, no matter how big or small, taught me how to work as hard as ever, while still maintaining my drive to work toward what I wanted to be doing each day. One day I would be writing in a studio while Blondie recorded their album next door, then the next morning be trudging children through the snow to get them to school. One week, I would be teaching back to back kids music classes, and the next I would be overseeing childcare at a Kabbalah conference. Life was busy, but never boring.
After many years of singing, creating, and entertaining kids and adults alike, it was time to find some green space and trees. I got married and moved back to New Jersey. I worked as a youth and community director at a non profit organization, for 4 years here in NJ until I started my new company Bright Songshine in 2020. I also write children’s books and music and teach locally and virtually.
